Chevron's Drift River oil terminal collects oil from nearby platforms in Cook Inlet. Ships transfer the product to refineries. The site is at risk of flooding from the Drift River during a Mount Redoubt eruption. Houston-based Hilcorp Alaska, LLC has purchased Chevron's Cook Inlet oil and natural gas assets in a deal that is expected to be final at the end of 2011.
